Rural School Creek Quintay Part 1 Project 2004 Daniela FullertonAndrea Pino University of Valparaiso Valparaiso | Chile RURAL SCHOOL CREEK QUINTAYLike in the existing constructions in the creek of fishermen, the proyect settles on rocks, it rises and it endorses in the slope. It creates three protected zones of the wind, where the classes extend. We proyect three educative areas of learning or stages for all the school. Their inner and outer divisions are variable according to the event, thus, they change of sizes by means of movable elements and incoporate outer places within the class. The educative event weapon and rearms when having fragile perimeters. The project constructs the “plaza del aprender” and reinforces the identity of the town: the wood, its location, disposicition of the spaces and its orientation respond to a bioclimatical principles in wich the project stands for: climate, sea, topography, sun disposition and views.Compact volumes suspended, getting away from the humidity of the place and the day activity, saving energy based on the principle of learning thruogh the educational cicleThe North facade towards the sea becomes permeable, bioclimatical construction and inhabitable thickness, support diverses acts and regulator of themic comfort, with openings that dissipate the heat by means of ventilation natural. The South facade towards the hill, concentrates the hill access and enclosures.
