Part 2 Dissertation 2018

My thesis investigates how a village community, based in a developing part of Lagos State, Nigeria, can become economically self – sufficient through an architectural intervention in a form of a new hotel prototype, open for participatory entrepreneurship and mutually beneficial relationships between the local and the global. The study revolves around findings about West Africa’s hotels and its newly generated urban environments, made during fieldwork in Nigeria and Ghana.
