PUERTO NATALES SEA TERMINAL Part 2 Project 2005 Felipe Harris Central University of Chile | Chile The main goal of this project's design was to connect three fundamental elements that configure a seaside town:ANALOGY (design / urban role) The Ocean and its extension, The Seaside itself, and the town with its structure and scale. The project's design was also developed on the base of bioclimatic conditioning due to Puerto Natales’ hostile weather (strong wind gusts, low temperature, low sun incidence angle, etc.).The Building works as a heat receptor and the wind deflectors designed for the sea border produce wind-free spaces that allow people to walk and stay on the seaborder.
