Modern Cather Monastery, Orvieto Part 1 Project 2012 Quba Tuakli De Montfort University | UK This project is a speculation as to the nature of a Cathar monastery on the hill fort town of Orvieto – Italy. One of the Cather strongholds during the papal crusades against them, this town now has a complicated relationship with tourism and faith, creating a town in limbo The monastery takes the form of a building in the very near future, a leather clad introspective monstrosity, built to evoke evaluation of ones own values.
