"Kabiuk" - Cultural Tourism Compound Part 2 Project 2015 Ana Dyadkova University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy | Bulgaria Most of the heritage territories in Bulgaria are in a bad condition, gradually losing their identity. The project theme is sustainable usage of cultural heritage and the aim is to show the whole process of its identification and integration of new functions. The project concentrates on National Historical and Archeological Reserve “Kabiuk” in order to illustrate this. The territory is slightly popular despite its national importance. Nowadays it is part of the oldest horse farm in Bulgaria. After visiting the place, I believe that “Kabiuk” has a great potential and my aim is to prove this via my diploma project.Kabiuk’s RESOURCE could be classified as: Archeological, Horse breeding, Natural and Local customs and traditions. PROBLEMS - Bad condition of cultural resource;- Scattered;- Bad access;- Undeveloped cultural tourism. On the base of the synthesis scheme comes my CONCEPT: 1. Cultural route;2. All the resources and infrastructures come together in a point that is very important for the whole structure of the tourist package – integration point;3. Necessary functions: tourist, information, conference, trade;4. The cultural route connects to other cultural routes. In result of this concept I present my project on three levels that interact in an unitary system:CULTURAL ROUTETHE CENTER OF KONYOVETSINFORMATION AND CULTURAL CENTER “KABIUK” Tutor(s) Todor Krestev
