REHAB argues that creating atmospheric architecture provides the potential for patients to engage with their environment - to support their wellbeing – by connecting them through the scale and atmosphere of the domestic. This proposition led to the design of a rehabilitation centre in order to facilitate the treatment of spinal cord impairment and brain injuries throughout the Wellington region of New Zealand.
