Co-Housing in Thamesmead: A response to London housing Part 2 Project 2016 Alba Daja University of East London London | UK The scheme is based in Thamesmead, South East London. It responds to the London housing debate by promoting co-housing as an alternative and affordable means of housing provision.Building on co-housing traditions and the aspirations of the Naked House co-housing group, the scheme aims to address the shortcomings of Thamesmeads utopian planning by providing a sense of generosity to the wider community through shared amenities, flexible space and adaptability.
