The Sheep Counting Institute Part 1 Project 2016 Alexander Borrell Newcastle University | UK The Sheep Counting Institute is an artist residency which plays with the surreal and hypnagogic qualities of Holy Island. It blurs the border between dream and reality and is grounded in a narrative in which sheep get blown off the island and float helplessly in the North Sea. The Institute counts the sheep and returns them to the Island allowing the Islanders to dream of different futures. Tutor(s) Graham Farmer Tony Watson
