Preservation and Regeneration: A New Concert Hall in Chester Part 1 Project 2016 Zhan Su University of Liverpool | UK Among a jungle of heritages in Chester- adjacent to the Roman wall and gardens, a new concert hall is proposed to raise a debate about preservation and regeneration. Tracing back to the city life enclosed by roman wall, the concept develops from the city memory, water landscape and “castle” typology. This proposal aims to achieve a celebrated music territory for the public without compromising its historical value. Tutor(s) Sandy Britton Howard Miller
