ME . M . ORY Part 1 Project 2016 Ross Hartland Cardiff University | UK Castle Park was once the physical and symbolic centre of Bristol. During late 1940, throughout six hours of bombing raids, it was reduced to a series of isolated fragments, including St Peters Church and the Church of St Mary le Port. Resonating with the sites multi layered richness and tragic history, the scheme stitches the fractured connections between fragments, exploring the inherently tense relationship between war and peace.
