“Aguas de Alhambra” Part 1 Project 2016 Leonardo Castro Paredes University of East London London | UK The proposal, located in Granada, brings back to life an abandoned site that has been isolated for a century due to adverse climate conditions causing humidity and darkness. By taking advantage of these conditions instead of going against them, I propose to convert the existing building into public baths enhancing water, nature and historical architecture - an alternative to the other sunny 'side' of the river, devoted to tourism.
