Architecture for Absence: “Caravana de la Muerte Victims” Experiential Memorial Part 2 Project 2016 Fernando Contreras University of Chile | Chile The project is a memorial made out of architectural experiences. These experiences recall one of the most gruesome events in Human Rights violation history in Chile: Caravana de la Muerte. The project consists on four parts, where the first three emulate the most crucial moments of the prisoners, and the last gives consolation to the families’ victims. They are the capture, the torture, the death and finally, the atonement. Tutor(s) Albert Tidy
