The Garden of Belfast Delights Part 2 Project 2017 Rebecca-Jane McConnell Queen's University Belfast | UK The Garden of Belfast Delights looks at the Northern Irish city of the future beset by climate-change induced flooding and accelerated immigration. Drawing on the concept of apocalypse meaning ‘revelation’, and channelling the near eponymous painting by Bosch, my proposal is to repurpose disused rigs as a new typology for the built environment. It will imagine a city floating above the inundation, arranged according to contours of the Victoria Channel. Tutor(s) Gary Boyd Greg Keeffe
