Part 2 Project 2017

Cape Verdeans face poverty and unemployment. Surrealistic techniques in this proposal are used to create a new perspective and possibility. Sited around a 500 year old kapok tree, on the island of Santiago, Surrealistic logic and local weather patterns influence both the building and landscape. It is a place of rest and repose, fantasy and fiction. A world inside a world that allows us to perceive the world differently.
