A Settlement in Dartington Part 2 Project 2017 Lea Daniel Kingston University Kingston | UK A proposed settlement, told through a children’s book, is set in a disused limestone quarry in Dartington. The scheme responds to the proposition of “dwelling in the periphery” and to the vision of an abundant life. A concrete landscape composed of a staircase, a dam, a pond, a lift and cliff-top houses are proposed. The project focuses on the experience of spaces, rather than their form or function - on architecture which shapes our everyday lives.
