Hortus Revividus: A Botanical Research Facility for Medicinal Plants in the Rising Crisis of Antibiotic Resistance Part 2 Project 2017 Emma Hugh University of Bath | UK Antibiotic resistance has become a world threat. Cyprus is amongst the highest consumers globally, meaning the entire population is at risk. Pioneering research suggests botanicals might be the key to combatting antibiotic resistance, yet their potential has not been explored. The proposal takes the theme of the walled garden, seeking to return to the medieval cloisters of traditional healing monasteries and the Cypriot home, putting the garden at the heart.
