Media Monastery Part 2 Project 2017 Christopher Weir Ulster University | UK The ‘Media Monastery,’ project is a contemporary multidisciplinary BBC media building. Ideas of time and ritual are set against the speed of the digital age. ‘Vertical Cloisters’ form interconnected spaces to work, think and create. My design was part of a larger city proposition recalling the flooded origins of Belfast -which echoes with that of Venice.
