Waiting Room Part 2 Project 2017 Isabel Ogden Royal College of Art | UK Waiting Room interrogates the nature of contemporary time. It considers three forms of temporal existence: the first navigates through life using cyclical and solar rhythms, the second abolishes all timezones and finds solace and efficiency in time’s unwavering, linear arrow and the third defines a new temporal order altogether—Sumtime—where life is experienced as blocks of repetitive action and space arranged as a measured expression of time, dictating architectural form.
