Migration Insurance Part 1 Project 2017 Madison SemblerPaul LorenzMaggie Tsang Yale University | USA Rather than look at global population movement as a crisis, this proposal normalizes migration by understanding migrants as a diverse group of talented individuals. By leveraging their shared talents across alternate geographies of climate or trade, we form a network of spaces agnostic of national borders. Our “insurance” constructs a social and physical infrastructure by identifying and pooling latent spaces to hedge collective risk and build resilience through migration. Tutor(s) Keller Easterling
