City School of Architecture | Sri Lanka
The project forms a link to help rejuvenate and conserve a deteriorating ecosystem. This building built in a sensitive environment connects architecture to nature and nature to people, and is positioned as a buffer in the wetlands. The main material resonates with the project’s aim to be ecologically conscious and one with nature. This design attracts bird enthusiasts as well as those engaged in research whilst encompassing the community.
