Freedomland Part 2 Project 2018 Guangning Zhang University of Hong Kong | China Protests used to be violent or restrained, but in today’s Hong Kong, democratic expression is more carnivalesque, embracing entertainment and commercial activities. Under the strict surveillance, what protests would be in future Hong Kong and what space does it need?
