On the corner of Bourke street, Melbourne sits a repository of objects appropriated by a common language.
Anglo-Saxon verbs, Door, Window, Walls etc as metaphorical objects literally constructed. Here the project takes on a decidedly comic turn where we have an elaborate time getting a ‘handle on things’. As the objects are known not by language but through use; the object is reaffirmed rather than appropriated.
