Coral Growth: Biology and Narrative as the Architectural Catalyst Part 2 Project 2018 Raghad AlAli American University of Sharjah | UAE Inspired by findings and research of coral stones and botanical illustrations from 19th century biological narratives, the project is a lifecycle of a man-made coral farm that serves a 21st century nation-wide demand for coral stones for preservations of historic coastal cities.The process immerses itself as a potential form of cross-disciplinary between Scientists and Architects, a question of where Lab Architecture sits in the bigger discussion of the Anthropocene.
