Part 2 Project 2018
Marie Ramsing

The Aesthetics of Appearance is an architectural speculation that makes a critical and symbolic intervention into the arctic environment of Nuuk, Greenland. It evidences a collapse of temporal registers - from the geological to the immediate - allowing a simultaneous understanding of Greenland’s ancient landscape and the real-time impact of climate change and the encroaching urban development on this ecology.
