Balnagask Village: The Art of Sudden Encounters Part 1 Project 2018 Magdalena Wloczka Robert Gordon University | UK The project aims to challenge the social prejudice and disregard towards socially deprived areas, introducing increased density housing providing multi-generational co-habitation. The seaside village provides a harmonious sheltered environment, as a composition of 8 blocks gives shape to intimate external gathering spaces interwoven with a complex network of pathways. Social encounters are encouraged to happen simultaneously throughout the site, while allowing glimpses of the North Sea and the meadows. Tutor(s) Theodoros DounasMr Neil Lamb
