Museu d’Història de Barcelona is a hidden gem lying adjacent to Plaça de Ramon, which boasts the largest surviving fragment of the ancient city wall. The museum displays abundant subterranean discoveries, including Barcelona’s ruined Roman streets, yet it is betrayed by an understated entrance.

I proposed a new museum entrance and extension building linking the Plaça to the ruins via the ancient city wall, hence connecting Barcelona's past and present.
