Within the context of hyper urbanisation, the value of socio-cultural traditions is diminishing in an increased presence of globalising forces.

This project reinvigorates and celebrates inherited rituals of the landscape. It marks the changing of the seasons through a dynamic architecture which response to wind, water, moon and seasonal shifts — reforging forgotten links between people and the inherited connection to places.

The building itself becomes a recording apparatus through the changes and layers built up from one season to next and overtime. This project is trying to create a juxtapose experiences in Macao to build a resilient neighbourhood not only for the tourist but also mainly for the residents.
