A Parasite of Non-Conformity Part 1 Project 2019 Hannah Foster University of Central Lancashire | UK We live in a world that is advancing rapidly. Our surroundings are changing at a rate that we cannot keep up with. Therefore, we must challenge the norm. Think quickly. Act quickly. Change the way we live before the world changes us.This is a Live/Work project based around the production method of Screen Printing. It is situated in the heart of Blackpool, occupying an abandoned police station. The concept – a parasitical building that does not conform to the standard rules and traditions of Architecture. A parasite that lives on another body and feeds off its host. The importance of this building lies not in its aesthetics and physical properties but in the life that is injected into it by its host.
