Ad Nauseum Part 2 Project 2019 Santiago Rojas BetancurCamilo Abad Pérez Pontifical Bolivarian University | Colombia With this project, we propose ex-combatants of the conflict in Colombia that live at the ETCR (Territorial Space for Training and Reincorporation) in Dabeiba, a life project that makes them autonomous and so the state intervention would be not required. We think about eight self-sufficient machines that can manage the resources in Colombia rural areas, so we think architecture works as a tool to help rural areas, using natural resources for production. The machines work like a new city; together they create a system where each one of them fulfils a specific purpose. We tough of main machine that would connect the complex of other machines in other villages in Dabeiba: the mouth is the access, the brain is in charge, and the stomach is the dining room and main kitchen of the complex. These machines also converts organic waste into fertilizer to improve crops. We dreamed this solution for changing the life of groups of people. This utopia speaks about the autonomy needed by the people. That is why it is called Ad nauseum, because is a lie although we believe in it as a solution. Is not possible to happen in our country.
