This school is conceived as a reverence to the mountains. Is about not only the high mountain, the low valley or the plain. Is about the dream of inhabit: children should be wrapped in a learning world with freedom and direct relationship with nature.

The project is located in a regular blocking of Medellín downtown, near Ayacucho avenue.
A few meters closer, the tram passes and in the surroundings, there are several equipments and public buildings. In the midst of this chaos, it is notorious how the hillsides are just a distant sample of the local landscape.

The school building hosts different experiences by means sectors related to the exterior life and landscape. The courtyards in different sizes become the strategy to generate different activities and multiple levels of privacy. The south façade is composed of a series of windows that fulfill a double function, illuminate and allow the view from the interior but also overturn the building towards the outside, becoming images or frames for the everyday learning. Finally, interior spaces are perceived as a new configuration, a collage of scenarios for school life.
