The Encapsulated Cities project Aims to capture the essence of Berlin and have it expressed through a sequence of experiences by utilizing architectural intervention and exploration within an integral part of the historic city.

Experimentation of different archetypes and representation methods through analysis of polarities present within individual components is carried out with an emphasis on the exploration of privacy levels and an underlying hierarchy of buildings and this philosophy and approach is reflected within the individual components of the proposal named ECOLOOP, inspired by Rem Koolhaas 'The Exodus' several of the components have been chosen as the core and foundation of what the ECOLOOP would be built on, varying in degrees of privacy and hierarchy from baths, allotments, ceremonial square, and reception, The Encapsulated Cities project reimagines and augments these archetypes through the addition of sustainable and self-sufficient goals, with the aim of allowing this architecture shell ultimately acting as a social catalyst and an interactive tool to advance and further develop Berlin as a community through the lessons of the past. While not overshadowing the historical importance but to weave seamlessly into the existing fabric and becoming the driving force for Berlin's tomorrow.
