A Walk Through the 20th Century Part 2 Project 2020 Kristina Tehova University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy | Bulgaria The 20th century, in both the world and Bulgaria, has been scarred by the peaks and downfalls of society. Great discoveries and developments, hand in hand with catastrophic events have and continue to shape the decades to come. However, a glimmer of optimism remains constant. The past century feels like a distant past - some events deemed inconceivable for the young generation. However, the thing that cannot be distorted by history and the distance of time are the feelings that people experienced then, so the walk in the twentieth century does not need to recreate events, but only the feelings from them. Passing through the spaces, visitors can experience the last century through the emotions generated by the place, telling the feelings of the people from the events of that time, many directions bring curiosity, confusion, worries and delusions. The more you walk through this place the more plots would find. This way the memory of the past century will always live in it’s most real aspect. Tutor(s) Plamen Nanov
