SoftCity Part 2 Project 2020 Marine Zub University of Greenwich | UK Soft City proposes to speculate on the future of our democracy in a globally connected world, by imagining a nomadic parliament for the Netizens of the Internet. The floating parliament can be described as an “in between” space located at the intersection of the real world and the virtual world where technology exists within the building fabric. It also provides connection to remote communities to have them participating in the development of the ‘internet governance’ and benefit from the advantages Internet’s offers. Based on the model of social media, Soft City works as an interactive platform led by a virtual community to facilitate exchange of information and ideas. Tutor(s) Pascal Bronner Thomas Hillier
