Collective Housing in Bucharest Part 1 Project 2021 Adrian AndreiCristina Stoica Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism | Romania Situated at the juxtaposition of two different housing typologies, our project combines their characteristics into a multi-family residential ensemble consisting of 50 dwellings.A set of 8 row houses and a 7-storey apartment block are merged into a single volume centrally positioned on the site. The collective housing complex benefits from several types of outdoor spaces: a green area connected to the street, a yard on the perimeter of the site to encourage interaction between the members of the community, a large green terrace with access from the first floor, individual courtyards for the one or two-storey dwellings and loggias for each of the apartments on the upper floors.Besides the main residential function, the project also includes complementary public areas and common spaces for the members of the community.
