To obtain a better knowledge of Lebanon's history, consider the importance of the country's shore in the history of salt. Since the earliest Phoenician records, salt ponds have thrived on the rocky coast of Anfeh, a historic harbour south of Tripoli. The recovered salt from Anfeh became a tremendous economic success over time until it has been decreased since then. That’s why the project, Salt Formation Centre, was built based on the use of salt in art direction and architectural applications in an attempt to reconsider the way to maximize the use of salt, which represents the distinctive identity of the site and in turn be an open salt exhibition, also this place aims to persuades people to take advantage of salt in the digital architectural fabrication field. To obtain the needed and required design of such an art centre, it shall aim to create a form that preserves, rebuilds and revives the memory and heritage of salt harvesting that is formed by the process of its crystallization.
