The Intersection of Nature and Technology in Sustainable architecture

Part 1 Project 2023

This thesis project aims to explore how architecture can promote sustainability by balancing the relationship between humans and nature, and humans and technology. The scheme is an innovative educational building, which attempts to serve as an exemplary model for how today's technologies can contribute to the health and well-being of individuals and the environment.

One of the most exciting and innovative aspects of this project is the development of a unique system that enables the production of rammed earth panels on-site using robotics. These panels will be assembled to form load-bearing walls, resulting in a sustainable building that harmoniously integrates nature and technology.??

Furthermore, the proportion systems, the unique compositional methods , the community engagement, and the marriage of architecture and landscape, all push the building to be a timeless piece of architecture.

Through research and experimentation this project tried to tackle some of the most pressing questions of our time, including: How can we leverage technology to create sustainable architecture that promotes human well-being and sustainability? And how can we integrate nature into architecture in a way that enhances the quality of life for individuals while reducing our carbon footprint?
