Placed at the edge of Sara D. Roosevelt Park, ingrained in the urban fabric of New York City, we wanted to revive the existing underused space by bridging the lost social past with the new age needs for the community.

Our Urban Brewscape is an example of a net-zero brewery designed with educational, environmental and social aspects to introduce an alternate condition to the existing community and city-scape as a whole.

Shown in the design, the use of silos as an organizational strategy houses key programs identifiable as pillars for the rest of the design to wrap around. Placed in a linear fashion, the silo's form the brewing strip as each one holds a sequential step in the brewing process.
