Light (Re)-Connecting Space is where light according to Einstein's theory of relativity connecting Universe reflecting on, and human experience intersect with architecture through the story of The Lebanese Rocket Society which established in the early 1960s by ambitious professors and students from a university in Beirut, aimed to advance scientific research and technology through rocket development. They successfully launched a series of rockets, including the "Cedar" series, which marked significant milestones in Arab space exploration. Although the project was halted due to political issues, a new initiative seeks to revive this legacy by creating a tourism attraction in Lebanon centered around the society. This project will feature storytelling about the society's achievements and aims to generate income from an associated research centre, promoting historical appreciation and scientific advancement.

To develop the space exploration hub concept, key points focused on viewpoints from the site were identified. these points were strategically placed and connected, forming a main north axis representing light's travel into space. This concept inspired the design of two main buildings, with circulation symbolizing illumination's path. A visual simulation raised the building corners to enhance attraction from a distance, leveraging the interplay of light in physical dimensions to create a visually appealing and scientifically significant hub.
