‘Reviving History’ is inspired by the HMS Victoria, which sank in Tripoli's port. This project aims to breathe new life into the neglected Mina district, symbolizing the revival of a ship and a region. Set against Tripoli's historical backdrop, the design draws from the coastal city's weathered hues, especially the railway's patina. The building's exterior features copper and rusty red tones, colours that make it a distinctive landmark standing as a beacon of renewal while honouring the area’s industrial past.

The architectural form takes inspiration from shipping container ribs, reflecting the port's maritime history. This design choice enhances structural and aesthetic cohesion, linking the building to its surroundings and the story it represents. ‘Reviving History’ is more than a building; it is a narrative of human emotion and historical significance. Drawing from the HMS Victoria's sinking, the project conveys powerful stories of the past and the enduring spirit of contemporary art. It serves as a tribute to history and a testament to Tripoli's resilience and creativity.
