alexandria heritage center Part 1 Project 2005 Hashem Tawfik SharaawyRuth Pearn Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport - Alexandria Campus | Egypt the museum is located in the city of Alexandria, Egyp. it consists of four main galleries,which exhibits artifacts offour different period of alexandria history. Each period is represented through floor slabs, which have an organic form. The museum also consists of a library , organized in historical mode, emphasizing on historical context of the building. The library also acts as a focal point in the scheme, connecting slabs together , through a modular grid. The axial wall on the right east side of the builiding acts as a buffer, segregating the mosque. The building utilizes, intelligent environmental control system.
