ONE°41 Yacht Club Part 1 Project 2021 Nur Rasyidah Mohd Nizam MARA University of Technology - Perak campus | Malaysia ONE°41 Yacht Club is an exclusive yacht club located in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. Strategically located on the banks of the historical Kuantan river, this yacht club aims to reminisce the olden glory days of the river. Built on a 2.12-acre land, this proposal comprised of a marina with direct access to the river, surrounded by government service buildings and supporting infrastructure, cultural centres and beaches. Being the first and only yacht club on the east coast of Malaysia, it is befittingly designed to accommodate both local and international travellers to take a retreat and explore this yacht club. The concept “beacon of exploration” embodies the idea of exploration through the user’s experiences within the building. The notion of being on a voyage where the club members recuperate from their busy daily lives and enjoy tranquillity and solitude here. This yacht club offers multiple excitement and activity, alongside opportunities to escape and explore. A contrasting approach to the surrounding visual landscape creates a one-of-a-kind landmark to the city of Kuantan.
