The pedestrianized roads draw the public from the Albert Docks, past the Liver Building, towards The Source. The road to the site, redesigned with a masterplan, reconnects people with the water, promoting a seamless transition from city to waterfront.Ramps are key features in the design, guiding circulation, separating public pathways from bathhouse routes, and offering views that enhance the user experience. This arrangement ensures smooth, intuitive movement while maintaining inclusivity and accessibility.The Source blurs the boundary between city and water, fostering a deeper connection between people and the dock. It includes pools, spa facilities, a café/bar, and semi-open public areas, encouraging visitors to engage with the waterfront and promoting unity with the natural environment.Emphasizing sociability, the project uses communal bathing to break down social barriers and build community bonds.
