Simon Rodriguez District School in Bogotá Part 2 Project 2003 Ricardo RamirezEmily Simpson Catholic University of Colombia, Bogota | Colombia The School Simón Rodriguez, is located in a sector with unique urban characteristics, product of the juxtaposition of retículas on the old basin of La Vieja Creek. They gives the architectural characteristics of some buildings, we seek to integrate them to the project, taking up again the internal structure of apple, facing it to a new content inside plans (fields), mainly is sought the unicidad of the existing elements and created establishing bonds of circulation on the ones that are explored the transparency generating an idea of inmaterialidad that challenges the space to obtain simultaneidades. This proposal is considered a self-sustainable project, with rain water harvesting, to diminish the expense by consumption. Their proposal presents a search surpassing diverse levels in spaces for children of less favored classes and the taking of conscience of problems related. The project complex has reached an excellent level in its process, continuity and answer of design, despite its extensive and various program.
