Urbanism Inside The Building Part 1 Project 2003 Esteban PerezBenjamin Thomas National University of Colombia - Medellin campus | Colombia There are punctual parts in downtown where the urban labour of the architect doesn’t seem to exist. At one of these points we have suggested a proposal/answer, using architectural elements that contribute to the improvement of the urban situation of the surroundings. The project works as an articulating element, which opens to the city, making the street part of the interior proposal, giving it urban qualities.The project plays with a system of urban/cultural previous existence, that interacting with a contemporary language, makes the outside the element in charge of insinuating the different spaces and the uses that are presented inside the project.
