Energy Museum Part 2 Project 2005 Hossam YounesAvery Jiehui Chen Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport - Alexandria Campus | Egypt The main concept of the museum is using latest technologies in materials and construction. the structure consists of a main steel structural core, presenting a vertical landmark and contains vertical circulation and planeterium. Exhibition spaces are cantilevered from the main core.The museum exhibits the exploration of different energy forms through intercative medias , to facilitate the understanding of different systems. The building utilizes passive energy techniques , it uses renewable energy sources, such photovoltaics, light pipes, and wind turbines for energy generation. The progress of the project's design process was obviously accomplished.The employed environmental control systems were successfully chosen to meet climati conditions.
