This thesis explores housing based on the social, political and cultural results of automation. Set in 2030, it foresees that large office towers have become redundant due to an increasingly transient workforce, and uses Canary Wharf as a testbed to explore four emerging societies. The resulting design is a hybrid that addresses both the local and the global, setting a template for the appropriation of business districts worldwide.
