School of Architecture, Leicester Part 0 Project 2006 Lily Penelope Whitehouse De Montfort University | UK The proposed Leicester School of Architecture aims to create an innovative and inspirational environment for academic learning whilst merging with the community and enhancing the direct urban fabric and social realm. Conceptual design was lead by a responsive approach to the site, observing travel patterns and demands directly related to its location. Business and general pedestrian traffic fuse around the site, resulting in mixed travel patterns, weaving and twisting similar to a ribbon.
