District Shanghai / A People Power Game Part 2 Project 2018 Catalina Ionita Sheffield Hallam University | UK District Shanghai is a platform for reinforcing autonomy in Lithuania’s deprived neighbourhood, Snipiskes (known as Shanghai).Designed as a neighbourhood activation tool, the project has at its heart a community engagement game. Its aim is to bring together members of the community, local authority or other relevant constituencies and invite them to discussion and negotiation.The outcomes of the game are explored by the architect and evolved into spatial interventions.
