School of Fine Arts, Colombo Part 1 Project 2017 Devmin Wickremasinghe City School of Architecture | Sri Lanka The neighbourhood where this Art School is located contains many technical institutes, with a stark and rigid atmosphere. Therefore building something that expresses its purpose, very strongly is a difference brought in to liven up the area.This venture was undertaken to arrange for another spacious location, to carry forward the everyday learning and teaching; previously being done in cramped workshops at an antique complex, 10 minutes away by foot.
