Fragmented Trauma, Mosul, Iraq Part 2 Project 2018 Ali Salih Beirut Arab University - Tripoli campus | Lebanon “Fragmented trauma” aims at preserving the identity of Mosul City after years of ethnic and religious conflicts aggravated by the occupation of ISIS. It’s a reconstruction proposal for The Great Al – Nuri Mosque and Al Hadba Minaret with the addition of a war memorial and an underground cultural shelter for Mosul’s destroyed cultural heritage. Fragmented trauma is an architectural attempt to heal Mosul’s traumatized environment.
